We buy approximately a million and a half dollars worth of energy every year, and that has to come from somewhere. If Vermont Yankee closes, it’s very likely that our own industry, and others like us, would not be able to remain here in Vermont. If there’s anything I could do to ensure that Vermont Yankee stayed here and produced the reasonably priced, consistent power that they do, I would do that.
